After completing work on the “Connected” documentary, and sought to reinforce that though the grassroots development of rural broadband was a great achievement, it wasn’t “job done” but something that was ongoing, with massive rural areas of the state yet to be completed. These videos for social media documented and raised awareness for their broadband training program, as well as showing the joy for a rural family on “connection day,” personal testimonials about “what broadband means to me.”
The training program videos showed how someone could find in-demand work in a growth industry close to home, the emotionally-centered videos, complimented by the “Connected” documentary underscore that this is also mission driven: workers are not only pursuing stable employment, they can make a positive, tangible impact in the lives of their neighbors and communities.
